Kaidoro is built and run by one person, as a personal project. These terms are written in plain English on purpose — there's no legal team behind them, and an honest page you might actually read beats boilerplate neither of us would. They aren't a substitute for legal advice.
What Kaidoro is
Kaidoro turns a goal you type in into an AI-generated roadmap you can track, and gives you tools to follow it through: three ways to see the same plan, study guides, and exports. This page is the agreement you're entering into by using it.
Accounts
Kaidoro is in private testing, so creating an account needs an invite code. An account is personal — it's for the one person who created it, not a login to be shared. Signing in on too many devices signs the oldest one out, and you can see and sign out your own devices from Settings. If you think someone else has been using your account, get in touch (see Contact, below).
Kaidoro isn't directed at children under 13, and by using it you confirm you're at least 13.
Subscriptions and billing
Kaidoro Pro costs $6.99 a month, billed monthly, or $39 once for a lifetime purchase. Both are bought through Stripe, which handles the whole payment — Kaidoro never sees your card details. You can cancel a subscription any time from the billing page; cancelling stops future charges, and it doesn't refund the current one. There's no automatic refund: what you've paid for stays paid for, and the one-time lifetime purchase isn't refunded — deleting your account doesn't refund it either.
Acceptable use
The limits in this product are real and enforced by Kaidoro's own servers, not just hidden in the interface: a free account gets one active roadmap and five AI credits a month — enough for two AI generations, since each one costs two credits — while paid accounts have a generous but real monthly ceiling on AI credits, and both tiers cap how much you can store. Hitting a free limit offers you an upgrade; the paid ceiling is set far above anything a person can do with the product, so reaching one means automated or shared use, and the server refuses it. What the server can't catch, these terms say plainly: don't scrape Kaidoro, don't resell access to it, and don't try to get around the AI limits by automating them.
Your content
Everything you create — goals, the roadmaps generated from them, tasks, uploaded documents, notes — is yours, and you keep ownership of it. To run the service, you give Kaidoro a licence to store your content, show it back to you, process it through the providers the product uses (the AI providers, and the other services the privacy policy names), and publish anything you choose to share. That's the whole licence: Kaidoro itself doesn't sell your content, and doesn't use it to train models.
AI-generated content
Everything the service generates — roadmaps, study guides, and related writing — is produced by an AI model, and can be wrong, incomplete or outdated. Treat it as a starting point to work from and check, not as a finished expert answer, and not as professional advice: for anything that matters — your money, your health, a legal question, a career decision — check it with a qualified person. You're responsible for what you do with a plan Kaidoro helped you make.
Termination
The only way an account is closed is by its owner deleting it, from Settings. There is no ban or suspension mechanism in Kaidoro — nothing in the code can shut an account down against its owner's wishes — so these terms don't claim one. What the code does instead is enforce the product's limits: a usage ceiling is refused by the server, and signing in on too many devices signs the oldest one out. What deleting your account removes, and what it can't reach, is described in the privacy policy's "Deleting your account" section.
Service availability
Kaidoro is a personal project, and this page doesn't promise an uptime guarantee. It can be slow, briefly down, or changed at short notice; you're relying on it as a tool, not as a service you're owed.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. If you keep using Kaidoro after that, you're accepting the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
